Navin ALAHARI named a Fellow of American Physical society APS 2025

GANIL is proud to announce that Navin Alahari has been named a Fellow of American Physical society APS for the year 2025, one of the distinctions awarded by the American learned society in physics.

This prestigious recognition highlights the excellence of his contributions to nuclear physics. Navin Alahari joins the GANIL researchers already honored by the APS: Marek Ploszajczak (2008) and Pieter Van Isacker (2009).

The APS citation read as follows:

For advancing nuclear science by developing new techniques that combine tools of nuclear reactions and nuclear structure to characterize the properties of rare isotopes as a function of isospin and tunnelling at the femtometer scale.

This appointment demonstrates the international influence of the research carried out at GANIL and the scientific impact of Navin ALAHARI’s work.
