FACILITIES

G4

G41 beamline, in room G4, is fully dedicated to industrial applications with medium and high energy ion beams.

Technical specifications:

  • Two scanning magnets (Horizontal & Vertical) allow an irradiation area of about 50 x 4 cm.
  • Irradiation occurs in the air, behind a thin (10 µm) stainless steel window.
  • On line monitoring of the beam intensity through ionization chamber (low intensities), or secondary emission detector (high intensities).

D1

In the D1 room, two beamlines are dedicated to research and industrial applications :

  • The D1-HE beamline (IRABAT) for high energy ion beams
  • The D1-SME beamline (IRASME) for medium energy ion beams

Technical specifications are summarized below:

D1-HE / IRABAT

D1-SME / IRASME
