Ion beam diagnostics and beam control systems have been developed by GANIL teams since the GANIL construction in 1976. For the needs of accelerator tuning and survey, physics experiment tuning and survey, and more recently for safety requests. Recent developments have been undertaken for the SPIRAL2 project.
