Selected highlights on recent nuclear structure and clustering

Highlight on shell structure, shell evolution, study of the nuclear force, as well as on halo and clusters will be presented. This talk has been given during the ARIS conference in July 2026, to which I am planning to use few more remarkable examples that came to my knowledge during the conference. The presentation will encompass works using different experiments carried out worldwide, mostly using nuclear reactions, with very different experimental techniques and setup.  Whenever available, a comparison to theoretical will be provided. This panorama is also intended to discuss some of the essential scientific questions and trends for the next decade.
