Report on the NEXTGENDD Workshop 2025: Advancements in data acquisition at FRIB, FAIR and RIKEN

In September 2025, FRIB hosted the first Workshop on New Generations of Detector and Data Acquisition Systems for Nuclear Physics (NEXTGENDD). Significant focus was placed on the challenges of data acquisition in the next-generation FRIB and FAIR facilities, and the progress that has been made by various collaborations. This seminar will summarize the key points of this conference, including the future directions for addressing the needs of the nuclear physics community.
