Modern nuclear physics experiments require data acquisition systems capable of handling high data rates, precise timing, and large numbers of channels. This seminar reviews common data acquisition architectures, from front-end electronics to event building and storage, and discusses key challenges such as throughput, trigger strategies, FPGA-based processing and synchronization solutions.
