Compulsory training and documentation

E-learning modules

The GANIL e-learning platform for external experimenters is available online: https://u.ganil-spiral2.eu/gu/training/login/index.php?lang=en

Its purpose is to inform the users of the installation on the safety, radiation protection and waste management rules in the facilities.

Experimenters have to follow the training and then validate an online test about the mandatory modules.

Additional modules, for example on the Access Management Unit (UGA), are also available.

Medical certification

Access to the accelerator complex and experimental areas is restricted.

Consequently, you must ensure that all the members of your collaboration are allowed to work in a radiation environment. This must be attested by a medical certificate ; the certificate must state that you have no contra-indications to work under ionizing radiation.

Please send your medical certificate to accueil@ganil.fr
