{"id":426,"date":"2018-09-25T09:46:40","date_gmt":"2018-09-25T07:46:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ganil-spiral2.eu\/?page_id=426"},"modified":"2020-08-12T11:12:03","modified_gmt":"2020-08-12T09:12:03","slug":"linstallation-ganil","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ganil-spiral2.eu\/fr\/le-ganil\/presentation\/linstallation-ganil\/","title":{"rendered":"L&rsquo;installation GANIL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Le GANIL, Grand Acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur National d&rsquo;Ions Lourds, est aujourd\u2019hui l\u2019un des grands laboratoires internationaux pour la recherche avec des faisceaux d\u2019ions : physique du noyau, de l\u2019atome, de la mati\u00e8re condens\u00e9e, astrophysique, radiobiologie&#8230; Gr\u00e2ce au caract\u00e8re unique de ses installations, il est class\u00e9 parmi les Tr\u00e8s Grandes Infrastructures de Recherche (TGIR), au service d&rsquo;une communaut\u00e9 scientifique internationale.<br \/>\nDepuis sa mise en service et la premi\u00e8re exp\u00e9rience en 1983, les recherches men\u00e9es au laboratoire ont permis d&rsquo;importantes avanc\u00e9es en physique nucl\u00e9aire. D\u00e9couvrez quelques faits marquants scientifiques et les grandes questions auxquelles la recherche en physique nucl\u00e9aire cherche \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre.<\/p>\n<p>Les acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateurs, coupl\u00e9s \u00e0 des instruments de d\u00e9tection tr\u00e8s performants, permettent aux chercheurs du monde entier de r\u00e9aliser des exp\u00e9riences uniques. Le GANIL comprend des sources d&rsquo;ions, des cyclotrons permettant d&rsquo;acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer les faisceaux d&rsquo;ions et des salles d&rsquo;exp\u00e9riences qui accueillent des dispositifs exp\u00e9rimentaux uniques et d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s pour les besoins de la communaut\u00e9 scientifique. Une nouvelle installation va bient\u00f4t d\u00e9marrer au GANIL : SPIRAL2. Elle permettra d&rsquo;\u00e9largir les possibilit\u00e9s de recherche du laboratoire en augmentant ses capacit\u00e9s exp\u00e9rimentales.
