Description of nuclear structure and reactions at drip-lines using the Gamow Shell Model

The Gamow Shell Model has been introduced several years ago to describe the structure of weakly bound and resonant nuclei at drip-lines. It is a configuration interaction approach built on the Berggren one-body basis, comprising bound, resonant and scattering states. Continuum coupling is provided at basis level and inter-nucleon correlations by configuration mixing.

The Gamow shell Model has been recently extended to the use of no-core Gamow Shell Model and statistics have been introduced to quantify modeling errors. Moreover, a reaction formalism has been formulated in in the Gamow Shell Model so that cross sections can be therein calculated.

Presented applications concern the development an effective interaction with evaluated statistical errors, unbound nuclei calculated in the no-core Gamow Shell Model, and reactions involving drip-line nuclei and deuteron projectiles.
