On the 12th of November the GANIL staff made another significant increase in the beam power by a factor of 10. A 10 kW proton beam was accelerated by the LINAC up to its main beam dump. This was obtained using a 4.18 mA beam at an energy of 31.9 MeV, pulsed at 10Hz and with a duty cycle of 7.5%.

In parallel, first charged-particle spectra were obtained using the MEDLEY setup of the Uppsala University, Sweden, in neutron induced reactions on a 250µm CH2 target at the Neutrons For Science facility of SPIRAL2.
