A collaborative agreement - 06 Janvier 2009
The CYCERON Public Interest Group, the GANIL, the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Caen et Centre de Recherche, (ENSICAEN) and the University of Caen Basse-Normandie (UCBN) have signed a first collaborative agreement aimed, in particular, at revitalizing the EP2I action, thus improving the detection and maturation of innovative projects within laboratories, and optimising the transition of these projects towards the incubation phase.
For that purpose, the project partners decided, in accordance with their statutory specificities and intellectual property management policy, to intensify their exchanges in terms of research applications and support for the maturation of innovative concepts. Possible joint activities will be designed to optimise technology transfers from public research to the social, economical, and in particular regional sectors, and to intensify the transition of innovative projects towards the incubation phase.
Within this partnership framework, several activities have already been launched; on 14 November 2008, an intellectual property awareness day was organised together with the French Patent Office, INPI, and the ‘Normandie Incubation’ incubator, targeting researchers, engineers and research technicians, and, at the Science Fair held on 22 and 23 November 2008, a joint display concerning "Research, Innovation, Employment" was set up in the Science Village.
