The International Conference "EURORIB'08" was held from 8 to 13 June 2008 in Giens (France).
The nuclear physics research community is eagerly awaiting the construction of the new generation of radioactive beam accelerators in Europe: NUSTAR@FAIR, SPIRAL2@GANIL, HIE-ISOLDE@CERN, SPES@LNL and in the future, EURISOL.
Collaborations set up around these facilities explore new ideas for experiments and theories, which should further our knowledge of nuclear physics taken from the perspective of exotic nuclei.
The Giens meeting offers the various collaborating teams an opportunity to meet, to present their research projects and to explore existing synergies in their research programs designed around various future accelerator projects.
